1. Who is responsible?

yaibo is responsible for processing personal data on yaibo.gg and in the associated services. The full provider details are available in our Imprint. For privacy questions, contact us at contact@yaibo.gg.

2. Data we process

• Account and sign-in data: email address, name or display name, profile image, provider identifiers, and the authentication data supplied by Twitch or Discord when you choose one of those sign-in methods.
• Beta applications: the contact, experience, profile, PC setup, availability, and agreement information you submit in the application form.
• Account and product data: linked devices, access status, roles, and records needed to provide protected downloads and account features.
• Diagnostic material: logs, crash reports, screenshots, or similar material when you provide it during beta testing or support.
• Technical server data: information such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, and user agent may be processed in server logs to operate and protect the website.

3. Why we process this data

We process personal data to:

• create and secure accounts, provide downloads, and operate the service;
• review beta applications and communicate about beta participation;
• provide support, investigate technical issues, and improve reliability;
• prevent abuse and protect our systems; and
• meet legal obligations.

Depending on the processing activity, the legal basis is performance of a contract or steps taken before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), our legitimate interests in secure and reliable operations (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), or your consent where we specifically request it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Cookies and local storage

We use a technically necessary session cookie named authjs.session-token.yaibo.v2 to keep you signed in and protect authenticated areas. It expires automatically or is removed when you sign out. This cookie is necessary to provide the account features you request.

We currently do not use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies on yaibo.gg. Because the only cookie set by us is technically necessary, the website does not display a general cookie consent banner.

5. YouTube videos

Video previews are loaded from yaibo.gg. A connection to YouTube is established only after you select “Load YouTube video.” The embedded player then uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. Google may still receive technical data such as your IP address, browser information, and the page you visited, and may set or access data on your device. Loading the player is therefore optional and based on your consent.

6. Service providers and sign-in services

We use service providers for hosting, data storage, and transactional email delivery. Brevo is used to send service emails such as account or beta-related messages. These providers process only the data needed to perform their services for us.

If you choose Twitch or Discord to sign in, that provider processes your request under its own privacy terms and sends us the account data required for authentication. Discord sign-in may request access to your identity, email address, and joining the yaibo Discord server. We do not initiate either provider connection until you choose it.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for third-party advertising.

7. International data transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard for those transfers.

8. How long we keep data

We keep account and product data while the account or service relationship is active. Beta applications, diagnostic material, and support correspondence are kept only as long as needed to evaluate participation, resolve the relevant issue, or protect legal claims. Technical logs are retained for a limited operational period. Statutory retention duties may require us to keep specific records for longer.

9. Your rights

Subject to the applicable requirements, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

10. Children

yaibo is not directed at children below the minimum age required to use the service under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data unlawfully, please contact us.
